Growing Interest in Electric Vehicles: Bridgestone Survey Finds 40% of UK Motorists to Buy EVs by 2028

Bridgestone has unveiled new findings indicating that almost half of UK drivers who took part in a recent survey are planning to switch to electric vehicles (EVs) within the next five years. Despite concerns over charging infrastructure and range anxiety, the survey of 2,000 drivers commissioned by Bridgestone reveals that 40% of respondents intend to purchase an EV by 2028, marking an increase of 11% from the previous year's survey.

However, the survey also highlighted that 67% of participants expressed fears about the availability of charging stations, with exactly half of all respondents experiencing range anxiety, which represents a notable increase of 21% from the previous year.
