Bridgestone, has reopened its Warwick headquarters following an extensive refurbishment, with gold medal ambassadors Adam Peaty and Charlotte Worthington in attendance. The company’s sales and back-office support teams will now call this contemporary work space home, which features a range of flexible working options in line with Bridgestone’s smart working philosophy.

The headquarters has been designed to facilitate collaboration and community engagement, with open spaces that can be used by local schools and university students. Additionally, the meeting spaces are fitted with technology to enable seamless collaboration with hybrid teams from across the globe. The refurbishment also includes a gym, games room, and multi-faith room, promoting a healthy mind and body approach to working life.

The sustainability and efficiency of the project were key considerations from concept through to creation, with elements of the previous environment repurposed into key features of the new setting. The headquarters is powered by 100% renewable energy and heating and air conditioning systems have been installed to provide a more efficient and sustainable setting. The furniture has been selected with sustainability in mind, using existing assets and local suppliers.

Bridgestone’s North Region Vice President, Andrea Manenti, said that the investment in the Warwick headquarters is “a commitment to our employees, our partners, and the community. Bridgestone is evolving into a sustainable solutions company and we created our E8 Commitment to guide us on this long-term journey. Our new office is a living testament to this philosophy, bringing our environmental promises to life.”

The Warwickshire investment represents a significant part of Bridgestone’s mission to provide social and customer value as a sustainable solutions company toward 2050. The refurbishment aligns with the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, which guides the company to conduct business in a sustainable way.

Bridgestone’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement is commendable, and the refurbished headquarters is a testament to this. The company’s investment in the Warwickshire area reaffirms their commitment to the region and will provide a better connected, more collaborative, and inspirational working environment for their employees.
