Vaculug has announced VMS Pro Max, an updated version of its fleet tyre-management app featuring Bluetooth tread-depth recording and tools to identify vehicles awaiting inspection.

Existing users are being told to synchronise outstanding inspections and confirm their records have uploaded to the cloud before updating.

The company says the app was developed over three years and has a redesigned interface providing access to tyre and vehicle data.

Compatible Bluetooth measuring devices can transfer tread-depth readings into the app. The measuring device takes the reading, while the connection allows it to be recorded automatically in the inspection record.

Fleet managers can also filter vehicles using 30, 60 and 90-day options to identify outstanding inspections. An embedded VAN Driver Guide provides information on tyre care, road safety and legal compliance.

Vaculug describes the software as AI-enhanced and says it uploads inspection reports more quickly in the background.

For inspection teams, the Bluetooth connection provides a way to transfer measurements directly into digital records, while the vehicle filters help managers identify where inspections remain outstanding.

Existing Users: Before Updating

Vaculug’s announcement gives current VMS app users the following instructions:

  1. Synchronise all pending inspections saved in the existing app.
  2. Confirm synchronisation has completed successfully and all records have uploaded to the cloud.
  3. Update through the relevant app store once the new version is available.

Users needing help with the update process can contact Vaculug at marketing@vaculug.com.
