Triangle Tyre has signed a strategic distribution agreement with Vaculug Limited for its off-the-road (OTR) tyre range in the UK aftermarket, effective from 1st November.
The appointment sees Vaculug succeed RH Claydon as Triangle's UK OTR distributor, with the specialist retreader taking on responsibility for supplying the Chinese manufacturer's tyres across key sectors including quarrying, mining, port operations, materials handling, and heavy industrial applications.
Jorge Crespo, managing director of Vaculug, welcomed the partnership: "We are truly excited by the opportunity to enter the market with an agreement with such a leading brand. We are looking forward to building a strong relationship with Triangle and serve both our current customers as well as new ones with quality products."
Established in 1950, Vaculug describes itself as Europe's largest independent retreader, producing high-quality OTR and truck retread tyres for fleets across the UK whilst offering fleet management solutions. The company's operational excellence, logistics capability, and nationwide service network are expected to enhance Triangle's presence in the British market.

Since establishing its European operations in 2017, Triangle Tyre has focused on developing its distribution model across the continent, appointing specialist operators in each country whilst improving brand reputation and visibility across its passenger car, truck, and OTR segments.
Recent years have seen sustained growth for the brand through new product introductions, participation in industry exhibitions, and structured sales and marketing activities. In the OTR segment specifically, Triangle reports it has consolidated a European double-digit market share through continuous product innovation, commitment to original equipment partnerships, and professional team development.
The partnership will see Triangle and Vaculug collaborate on commercial activities and leverage the manufacturer's product range to drive further growth in the UK market.
Vaculug positions itself as a leader in sustainability, promoting environmentally friendly practices through its retreading operations and fleet management solutions.
