Sailun Tyre is set to showcase its latest innovations at the Tire Cologne 2024, which opens today and runs until 6 June.
Recognised globally as one of the top twelve tyre manufacturers, Sailun is using this premier international trade fair to highlight its new generations of tyres for cars, electric vehicles, trucks, and vans, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology.
Visitors to the event are invited to explore these advancements at Sailun's stand, located at Hall 07.1, Stand C040. The company's latest offerings boast lower rolling resistance, optimised tread patterns, and revised structural designs, ensuring superior safety and environmental benefits for both combustion engine vehicles and electric motors.
The new tyres exemplify Sailun's commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining high safety standards. By integrating advanced features, such as EcoPoint3 technology, Sailun's tyres offer improved performance and energy efficiency, catering to the growing market demand for eco-friendly automotive solutions.
In the run-up to Tire Cologne, Sailun embarked on the 'Road To Cologne 2024' tour—a dynamic initiative showcasing their newest tyre models across six key European markets: Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, and the UK. This roadshow provided European dealers with first-hand experience of Sailun’s latest products and an opportunity to engage directly with the company.
Stephan Cimbal, Marketing Director of Sailun Europe, highlighted the significance of this tour: "This is a special, compact but no less demanding tour with many stops and stopovers at dealers in our important European core markets. We are particularly keen to offer our local partners the opportunity to not only get an idea of the latest range of tyres and their specific characteristics on site in the markets, but also to enter into a direct dialogue with them and making them an integral part of our story."
The roadshow not only demonstrated the capabilities of the new tyres but also celebrated local cultures, with visits to country-specific landmarks and culinary experiences. These moments were shared widely across social media, enriching the narrative leading up to Tire Cologne.
One of the highlights at the fair will be a car from the roadshow driving directly onto the stage, symbolising Sailun’s forward momentum and innovative spirit. During the event, Sailun will unveil up to 20 new models of Passenger Car Radial (PCR), Truck and Bus Radial (TBR), and specialty tyres. This includes new developments tailored for electric and hybrid vehicles, marking a significant first for the European market.
