University of Leeds Graduate Moves Into Marketing at Ring Automotive.

Ring Automotive has appointed University of Leeds graduate Louise Kelly as Marketing Executive after a year in its Customer Service team. Based in Leeds, Kelly now supports sales-led marketing campaigns, product launches, events and e-commerce updates. The move underscores Ring’s focus on coordinated go-to-market activity across its tyre care and automotive accessory ranges.

A move shaped by frontline experience

Kelly joined Ring as an Internal Account Handler, working closely with Area Sales Managers. In her new role she continues that collaboration, aligning day-to-day marketing with sales priorities and customer feedback gathered on the front line. She said the position offers “the opportunity to show off my creative side” and praised the “collaboration” across teams.

Early remit: campaigns, launches and e-commerce

The company says Kelly will help deliver integrated campaigns and support product introductions while maintaining digital listings and content across online channels. Marketing Director Henry Bisson noted she is “creative and fantastic at multi-tasking” and already “an asset” thanks to strong product knowledge built in Customer Service.

Ring has been active in tyre maintenance products, most recently adding the TYREInflate GO 10 to broaden entry-level options for motorists, activity that relies on disciplined launch marketing and retail content. That context makes Kelly’s e-commerce and campaign support relevant to on-shelf and online visibility. People and leadership context

The appointment follows leadership changes at the Leeds business, including Nick Davy’s recent step-up to Managing Director, signalling continuity as Ring grows UK aftermarket presence.

Local roots and early-career development

A recent graduate of the University of Leeds, Kelly’s move reflects the region’s pipeline of early-career talent into the automotive aftermarket. For Ring, developing cross-functional skills from customer service into marketing helps tie product knowledge to practical retail execution.

Across the tyre sector, brands are strengthening digital and e-commerce marketing to meet shifting buyer behaviour. People appointments like Kelly’s align with that tilt to data-led, omnichannel activity.
