Prometeon sponsorship boosts GB Speedway’s 2025-26 programme.

Great Britain’s world-leading Speedway squad has secured a season-long partnership with Prometeon Tyre Group. The deal provides fresh backing for the team’s senior and youth programmes as it targets more global titles and raises Prometeon’s profile in a fast-growing motorsport discipline that relies on durable, high-traction rubber.

Partnership scope

Prometeon Tyre Group will:
▪ Appear on GB Speedway Team bikes, race suits and trackside boards
▪ Support travel, logistics and sports-science services for riders
▪ Fund talent pathways for Under-21 and Under-24 squads

Steve Tift, Managing Director UK & Ireland, said the alignment “reflects our focus on peak performance”.

GB Speedway’s 2025-26 objectives

▪ Defend the FIM Speedway of Nations crown in Toruń, Poland (Oct 2025)
▪ Contest the Speedway of Nations-2 (U-21), European U-19 and U-24 team events
▪ Run the Global Challenge Series of international test matches

The senior squad has held the world No. 1 ranking since 2021, with two riders currently in the global top five.

Why the tie-up matters to the tyre industry

Motorsport sponsorship allows commercial-vehicle tyre makers to:
▪ Stress-test compounds under extreme, short-burst heat cycles
▪ Gather high-frequency telemetry on carcass deformation
▪ Showcase product reliability to fleet customers through visible success

For Prometeon, exposure in a high-profile British team extends reach beyond traditional truck and agri markets, supporting brand recognition among logistics operators that follow Speedway.
