Point S Tyre & Autocare, the UK's largest independent tyre dealer and car maintenance network, has restructured its leadership team as part of its ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond. The reshuffle includes the appointment of Ali Yilmaz as the new UK Managing Director, alongside other key promotions to strengthen the organisation’s strategic direction and operational efficiency.

Ali Yilmaz, known for his expertise in strategic planning and fleet development, steps into the role with a clear vision for the future. His focus is on fostering member-centric growth by engaging directly with the network’s independent dealers and providing tailored solutions to drive their success. Yilmaz also aims to leverage Point S’s global expertise to boost its UK operations, ensuring the network remains a leader in fleet and automotive services.

Having spent nearly eight years at Pirelli/Prometeon Tyre Group, where he served as Head of Fleet Development – Europe and MEA, as well as UK Managing Director, Yilmaz brings extensive experience in business growth and operational leadership to Point S.

Yilmaz commented:
“Point S has a unique vision to protect and grow independent tyre dealers and auto repair centres, which are essential to the UK’s automotive industry. I am excited to work with our team and members to build on the strong foundations already in place, ensuring sustainable growth and cementing our position as an industry leader.”

The leadership reshuffle also includes the promotion of Wayne Daniel to the Point S Board of Directors. Daniel has been instrumental in the network's expansion, growing it into the largest independent tyre dealer and car maintenance network in the UK, with over 340 points of sale. His new role will focus on strategic projects and supporting Yilmaz’s leadership.

In addition:

  • Andy Tester has been promoted to Business Development Manager.
  • Ben Herridge has stepped into the role of Regional Sales Manager (South).

Wayne Daniel stated, “Having been part of Point S for 12 years, I’m honoured to join the Board of Directors. Our shared vision of growth, through initiatives like our fleet programme and training courses, will continue to guide our network’s success. I look forward to working alongside Ali and the team during this transformative period.”
