LKQ Euro Car Parts has reshaped its operating model, moving from two divisional directors to four Sales Directors and four Operations Directors. The Sales leaders will report into Chief Commercial Officer Andy Southby, with Operations reporting into Chief Operating Officer Tony Shearer. The change is designed to speed decision-making and strengthen account management and logistics performance across the company’s UK and Ireland network.
A broader senior bench across Sales should enable closer segmentation by geography and customer type (independent garages, national accounts and fleets), while four Operations directors mirror the scale of the company’s distribution footprint centred on the T2 national hub in Tamworth. The Tamworth T2 site forms part of LKQ’s national distribution infrastructure.
LKQ Euro Car Parts operates a nationwide branch and fulfilment network that supports tens of thousands of daily deliveries, giving the leadership teams significant levers to improve service levels. Group materials indicate a network of c.270 branches with rapid-fulfilment and national hubs.
The move comes as UK aftermarket distributors compete on network coverage, service levels and partnerships. Recent activity includes LKQ Euro Car Parts’ four-year supply deal with IN’n’OUT Autocentres, signalling continued investment in national service performance.
LKQ is also expanding its circular parts capability through the LKQ SYNETIQ recycled parts joint venture, supporting repairer choice and sustainability outcomes alongside new parts supply.
Andy Southby serves as Chief Commercial Officer for LKQ UK & Ireland, while Tony Shearer is Chief Operating Officer, roles confirmed on the company’s leadership pages. The new reporting lines formalise accountability at director level beneath both executives.
This UK re-shape aligns with broader LKQ Europe transformation work to standardise processes and strengthen performance across markets, including recent group-level programmes to unify platforms and streamline operations.
