Kumho Tyre UK has reinforced its presence in the UK’s commercial vehicle sector with a wider selection of truck and van tyres tailored to deliver dependable, high-performance results across varied driving conditions.

The expanded range includes several tyres engineered for specific commercial uses, from mega trailers to regional transport vehicles and all-season van applications.

Key Additions to the Line-Up

KLT23
Targeting mega trailers, the KLT23 offers a combination of heavy-load capability and consistent mileage. With a robust 160K load rating, it’s suited for both long-haul and regional operations. Kumho highlights its excellent grip and stable handling across a range of road conditions.

PorTran KC53
Aimed at highway performance, this tyre features a wide tread and stable block pattern for enhanced dry handling—even under heavy loads. The inclusion of broad cross-grooves and straight circumferential channels helps reduce aquaplaning risk. The KC53 is offered in 38 sizes, covering dimensions from 155R13C to 215/60R17C.

PorTran 4S CX11
Bridging passenger car comfort with winter-readiness, this all-season tyre caters to light commercial vehicles like the Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, and VW Transporter. Available in 22 sizes (15 to 17 inches), it’s designed to provide year-round flexibility for fleet operators.

KXA10 and KXA11
These all-position tyres are optimised for versatility and seasonal resilience. With sizes including 245/70R19.5 and 385/65R22.5, they’re engineered for high mileage and consistent traction, whether in urban delivery or mixed-route conditions.

Strategic Growth in the UK Market

Kumho has backed its product line expansion with operational improvements across its UK distribution network. This includes enhanced service partnerships and better stock availability—key factors in meeting the growing demand from transport operators.

The company also continues to invest in R&D and motorsport partnerships to support product innovation. According to Kumho, this strategy has contributed to an average annual growth of 33% in the UK over the past four years, positioning it as a rising contender in the premium truck and commercial tyre segment.

As UK fleets face increasing demands for durability, year-round performance, and efficiency, Kumho’s reinforced CV tyre portfolio is clearly aimed at addressing those evolving expectations.
