Delphi has appointed Aliya Lam as its new UK country director, reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating growth and improving aftermarket operations across the region.

Lam will lead Delphi’s UK business with a focus on sustainable sales growth, customer-driven strategy, and operational excellence. Her remit also includes enhancing Delphi’s support for workshops and regional partners.

Strong aftermarket track record

With more than two decades in the global automotive aftermarket, Lam brings extensive leadership experience and a commercial focus shaped by senior roles at a major Tier 1 supplier. Most recently, she led global sales and marketing excellence and previously held responsibility for UK and Ireland aftermarket strategy. Her career reflects a consistent focus on aligning customer needs with business growth, particularly in the evolving independent aftermarket.

Commenting on her appointment, Lam said the strength of the Delphi brand and its commitment to holistic workshop support made this an ideal time to step into the role.

Supporting regional performance

Bas Donders, Regional Director for Western Europe at PHINIA, said Lam’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the business: “Aliya brings deep industry insight and a results-driven mindset that will be pivotal as we sharpen our regional focus.”

Her leadership is expected to strengthen Delphi’s position in the UK and Irish aftermarket, aligning with PHINIA’s strategic goals in key markets.
