A1 Remote to Spotlight Coding Support at Automechanika 2025.

A1 ADAS Group will return to Automechanika Birmingham in 2025 with a practical focus, offering live demonstrations of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) calibrations and diagnostics throughout the show. The interactive sessions are designed to give hands-on exposure to modern calibration tools, diagnostic processes, and remote support solutions.

Live Demonstrations Timed Daily

Taking place at 10am, 12pm and 2pm daily, the demonstrations aim to provide technicians, independent garages, and bodyshop operators with a real-world look at the latest ADAS and diagnostics procedures.

A1 ADAS managing director, Iain Molloy, emphasised the value of the sessions: “There’s no substitute for seeing this equipment in action, getting your hands on it, and speaking directly with the people who use it every day.”

The sessions will walk attendees through step-by-step calibration workflows, helping demystify complex procedures often required on newer vehicles following windscreen replacements, wheel alignments, or accident repairs.

Spotlight on Remote Diagnostics

Alongside its main stand, A1 ADAS Group will feature a dedicated space for its growing A1 Remote Diagnostics division. This area will showcase how remote support can enable workshops to handle coding, module replacement and reprogramming tasks without dealer-level tooling.

Live video links to A1’s Norwich-based technicians will demonstrate real-time remote operations. The aim is to show how independent workshops can access advanced vehicle diagnostics expertise at scale – a growing need as modern vehicles become more reliant on integrated electronic systems.

The inclusion of both live calibration and remote diagnostics demos reflects increasing demand from aftermarket repairers for accessible, cost-effective solutions to service ADAS-equipped vehicles.

As vehicle systems become more complex, real-time calibration and coding support are increasingly essential for independent repairers. A1 ADAS Group’s dual-focus on both in-person equipment handling and remote technician access highlights a broader industry shift towards blended diagnostic models, combining physical tools with remote expertise. These demonstrations underline the growing need for scalable support infrastructure in an evolving vehicle repair landscape.
