Yokohama Rubber Completes Acquisition of Goodyear’s Off-the-Road Tyre Business
Goodyear successfully resumed tyre production at its Colmar-Berg plant in Luxembourg on January 22, 2025, just two days after a significant fire temporarily halted operations.
The move will impact around 580 jobs and includes further downsizing at two additional locations.
The vehicles will be factory-fitted with Continental’s EcoContact 6 Q summer tyres in 19, 20, and 21-inch sizes, while the AllSeasonContact tyre has been approved for year-round use in a 19-inch size.
