Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has announced its introduction of a unique "E+" mark for passenger car, truck, and bus tyres that possess essential characteristics necessary for electrified vehicles.

The proprietary mark, set to be implemented in the latter half of 2023, represents Yokohama Rubber's response to the growing demand for tyres optimized for use on electrified vehicles.

The term "electrified vehicles" encompasses a range of vehicles such as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).
