Pirelli Unveils Three Cutting-Edge Additions to the P Zero tyre Family at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Pirelli recently launched three new tyres at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where they serve as the Exclusive Tyre Partner. These new additions expand the P Zero tyre family, which has been renowned for its performance and safety since 1986. The brand has achieved over 1300 homologations from leading car manufacturers, establishing its position as a leader in the industry.

The development of these new tyres has been driven by the demands of manufacturers and consumers, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency. Pirelli has employed their "Eco-Safety Design" approach, incorporating innovative methods and materials, including virtualization technology inherited from their motorsport experience. This approach helps overcome the challenges and compromises associated with tyre design.

The first new tyre introduced is the Pirelli P Zero E. This tyre combines technology and sustainability, achieving a triple A rating in rolling resistance, wet braking, and noise on the European tyre label. It utilizes more than 55% of its materials from natural or recycled sources, verified by the independent agency Bureau Veritas. Pirelli's analysis, validated by Bureau Veritas, shows a 24% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to a previous-generation tyre. Additionally, the P Zero E features Pirelli's RunForward technology, allowing drivers to continue driving at speeds of up to 80kph for around 40 kilometers after a puncture.

The second new tyre is the Pirelli P Zero R, designed for powerful supercars that can also be used daily. Developed in collaboration with prestigious car manufacturers, the P Zero R offers progressive behavior, excellent performance, and driving control in both wet and dry conditions. It also delivers improved rolling resistance, reduced road noise, and enhanced consistency during sports driving.

The third addition is the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS, which is a semi-slick tyre approved for road use but primarily intended for hypercars. Bespoke versions of this tyre have been developed for each individual car, offering
