JK Tyre & Industries Ltd has recently marked a significant expansion in its retail operations with the opening of a new branded truck tyre retail centre in Tamil Nadu. This development brings the total number of JK Tyre brand shops in the region to 22 and 92 across India.
Located strategically on State Highway 142 in Karur, the new facility, named Hindustan Tyres, sprawls over 7,500 square feet and is designed to serve as a comprehensive solution for fleet management and tyre needs. The inauguration was led by Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice President – Mobility Solutions & Fleet Management at JK Tyre, alongside other senior company officials.
The centre is equipped with advanced wheel servicing equipment, a variety of smart and regular tyres from JK Tyre’s commercial vehicle range, and features an experience zone that highlights the distinct retail identity of JK Tyre's exclusive stores. Additionally, the facility boasts a team of highly trained technical advisors, ensuring top-tier customer service and expert advice.
This expansion in Tamil Nadu aligns with JK Tyre’s strategic plan to enhance its last-mile connectivity and strengthen its retail presence throughout the country. The company already operates an extensive network of over 650 brand shops across various product sectors nationwide.
Globally, JK Tyre has a presence in 105 countries, supported by more than 180 distributors. The company's commitment to sustainable manufacturing is evident in its 12 factories, including nine in India and three in Mexico, which have set benchmarks in the industry. These facilities collectively produce approximately 32 million tyres annually. JK Tyre also maintains a robust network of over 6,000 dealers and more than 650 dedicated brand shops known as Steel Wheels and Xpress Wheels, further solidifying its market presence both domestically and internationally.
