Hankook Tyre UK Named Official Partner of Devon Truck Show and Truck Show Cornwall 2023

The Devon Truck Show will be held at Honiton Showground on May 13 and 14, while the Truck Show Cornwall is set for July 29 and 30 at Stithians Showground, Truro.

As the official partner, Hankook will have a prime opportunity to showcase their truck tyre portfolio and meet with both new and existing fleet partners. The company plans to feature two of its Alphatread retread range tyres, namely the drive axle R-DH05 and the trailer axle R-TH22, as well as their all-season van tyre, the Vantra ST AS 2.

Moreover, Hankook will also sponsor two categories: "Best in Show Truck" and "Best in Show Light Commercial." These awards recognise drivers who exhibit their vehicles at the events and demonstrate exceptional vehicle and tyre maintenance, safety, and industry standards.

Shane Kallaway, Hankook Tyre UK's Sales Manager for the South West and South Wales, said that the shows offer a great opportunity to showcase their SmartFlex AH/DH 51 and their complete commercial and van tyre portfolio to drivers and fleet owners. Kallaway added, "We're proud to support local charities and the community in the Devon and Cornwall area. So far, we've raised over £26,000."

Both events aim to raise funds for local community projects, and last year, in excess of £8,000 was donated to these vital projects. Mike Quartley, organizer of both events, expressed his gratitude for Hankook Tyre UK's support for the third year running. Quartley acknowledged that without the support of sponsors like Hankook, they would not be able to raise as much money for these local causes.

The Devon Truck Show and the Truck Show Cornwall are two of the UK's most significant trucking events, showcasing the best commercial vehicles in the country and focusing on commercial transport solutions. Visitors to these events can enjoy trade stands, monster truck shows, and live music.
