The standout performance came from the Hankook iON evo SUV, which was awarded an “Exemplary” rating in Auto Bild’s 2024 EV Summer tyre test. This tyre, designed specifically for electric SUVs, features the latest i Sound Absorber technology and an aerodynamic design that significantly reduces noise levels, making it a leader in its class.

In a rigorous evaluation involving seven competitors, the iON evo SUV emerged with an impressive overall score of 1.3. The Auto Bild testers praised the tyre for its “stable and safe handling, short braking distances on both wet and dry roads, and quiet drive-by noise,” adding that it also offers “high mileage and good value for money.”
Another Hankook tyre, the Ventus S1 evo 3 SUV, also excelled, earning a “very good” rating in the summer tyre test for compact SUVs by the magazine auto motor und sport. The tyre distinguished itself with “dynamic wet handling capabilities, a high level of grip and ease of control, and very dynamic performance on dry roads,” according to the experts.
Hankook's prowess extended into the motorhome segment, where the Ventus Prime 4 was rated as “Exemplary” in Auto Bild Reisemobil’s 2024 summer tyre test. The tyre was noted for its “impressive handling characteristics on wet and dry roads, good aquaplaning safety reserves, and safe wet and dry handling.”
The company's performance products are also meeting the high demands of sports car enthusiasts. The Ventus S1 evo Z, tested by Auto Bild Sports Cars, was described as “perfect for sports cars” thanks to its “agile steering behaviour, good aquaplaning reserves, and short braking distance on wet roads.”
Finally, the Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 was recognized as the best value for money in Auto Zeitung’s summer tyre test. The tyre stood out for its “high grip potential” and excellent balance across wet and dry conditions, making it “a good compromise between dynamics and comfort.”
