Scheduled for the 13th and 14th of April, the races mark a significant shift from the urban sprawl of Tokyo to the charming, technically demanding Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. This switch to Misano from the previously planned Rome E-Prix underscores Formula E's adaptability and commitment to delivering thrilling motorsport action in diverse locales.

Germany's Pascal Wehrlein, the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team ace, has emerged as the new championship frontrunner, clinching the lead with a strategic fifth-place finish in Japan. With 63 points, Wehrlein edges out close competitors, including New Zealander Nick Cassidy and Britain’s Oliver Rowland, spotlighting the intense rivalry and skillful driving that define the series.
