In honour of their 85th anniversary the directors and staff of PCL, a pneumatics expert based in Sheffield, embarked on a cycling challenge to raise funds for the NSPCC.
In an impressive display of teamwork, the participants successfully completed a 500km relay in just 90 minutes, exceeding expectations by cycling a total distance of 609km. The fundraising campaign is ongoing, with the JustGiving page having already collected £3,424 and more donations pouring in.
The success of the team can be attributed to PCL's latest innovation, the Digital Bicycle Inflation Station, which enhances efficiency, reduces tire wear, and prioritises rider safety. Developed in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, this cutting-edge product is designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of cyclists, regardless of their experience level.
The Bicycle Inflation Station can be accessed through either a free vending mechanism or card payment facilities, offering a valuable air solution
