In a monumental achievement for the tyre manufacturing industry, CEAT has been crowned as the world's first tyre brand to win the coveted Deming Grand Prize in 2023. This accolade not only places CEAT in an elite group of global companies but also underscores its unwavering commitment to excellence in Total Quality Management (TQM).
The Deming Grand Prize, presented by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), is a testament to organisations that have not only achieved the Deming Prize but have also demonstrated sustained and elevated TQM practices for over three years. The significance of this award is further magnified when one considers that only 33 companies worldwide have been honoured with this recognition, with CEAT being the sole representative from the tyre industry on this global platform.
Tracing back to 2017, CEAT made headlines by becoming the first tyre company outside of Japan to clinch the Deming Prize. This journey from the Deming Prize to the Grand Prize showcases CEAT's relentless pursuit of quality and its dedication to setting industry benchmarks.
