AGCO Chooses Vredestein VF Traxion Optimall for its Latest Fendt Vario 700 Gen7 Tractors

AGCO, a leading agricultural manufacturer, has chosen Apollo Tyres’ Vredestein VF Traxion Optimall as the original equipment (OE) for its new range of Fendt 700 Gen7 tractors. This significant partnership highlights the commitment of both companies to provide farmers and agricultural contractors with top-quality equipment that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.

The Fendt Vario 720, 722, 724, 726, and 728 tractors can now be ordered with the popular combination VF 710/70 R 42 & VF 600/70 R 30 Traxion Optimall tyres. This decision comes in response to the growing demand for Vredestein Traxion tyres on Fendt tractors, with additional sizes expected to be offered in the near future.

Guido Boerkamp, Director Off-Highway Tyres Europe at Apollo Tyres, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "Our latest OE deal with AGCO follows excellent feedback we have received from farmers and agricultural contractors who appreciate the VF Traxion Optimal range of qualities; most notably its soil preservation and traction in the field, as well as its long lifespan and excellent comfort levels on the road."

The Vredestein Traxion tyre is known for its unique design, featuring a characteristic curved lug shape with more rubber in the middle of the profile. This design ensures optimal comfort and high wear resistance. Additionally, the lugs diverge towards the shoulders of the tyre to provide additional traction and excellent self-cleaning capabilities in the field. The application of Vredestein’s unique F+ technology for its VF (Very High Flexion) tyres ensures that even during heavy traction work, the tyres can be operated at low pressure.

With the continuous development and extension of the VF tyre range, Vredestein now offers 27 tyre sizes, catering to the entire tractor range between 100 and 450 HP. Over the coming years, Apollo Tyres plans to strengthen its partnership with Fendt, supporting its expanding range of tractors and contributing to the future of farming.
