After a two-year delay and multiple cancellations due to Covid regulations, Tyrexpo Asia 2023 finally took place in Singapore earlier this month. And what a success it was! Visitor numbers were up by approximately 89 percent compared to the previous show in 2019, with 5,488 attendees and 202 exhibitors all experiencing significant interest in their products and services.
It is worth noting that around 90 percent of visitors traveled to the event from outside Singapore, demonstrating the international appeal of this important industry event. Moreover, 93 percent of exhibitors have already booked their stand for the next Tyrexpo Show.
According to Alwin Seow, Event Director at show organizers Tarsus South-East Asia, "Tyrexpo Asia 2023 has proved to be the most international show in tyre history." Seow went on to praise the loyal support of exhibitors and visitors, noting that the halls were buzzing with enthusiasm throughout the three-day event.
In addition to the main exhibition, the show also presented a special Retreading Conference on the first day, which was well-attended and of immense interest to the tyre retreading sector. The conference provided valuable insights and networking opportunities for industry professionals, highlighting the importance of this event as a forum for sharing knowledge and expertise.
But the excitement doesn't stop there. During the show, it was announced that four additional shows will take place during the next two years. Tyrexpo Americas 2023 will be staged in Mexico City from December 5th to 7th, with an anticipated 120 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors. Next year, Tyrexpo Asia 2024 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, between May 15th and 17th, with an expected 120 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors. Tyrexpo MEA in Abu Dhabi, UAE, will take place in November next year (dates to be confirmed), with around 150 exhibitors and 4,500 visitors. Finally, Tyrexpo Asia 2025 in Singapore will return in March 2025, with an anticipated 220 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors.
