Prometeon Tyre Group Unveils New Premium Tyres at RTX 2024

Prometeon Tyre Group is set to showcase its first Prometeon-branded premium tyres at this year’s Road Transport Expo (RTX), taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire from 4-6 June 2024.

Returning for its second appearance at the show, Prometeon is eager to present the UK debut of its new Prometeon-branded tyres, highlighting a significant milestone in the company’s evolution. Ali Yilmaz, Managing Director for UK, Ireland, and Nordics, expressed the company’s enthusiasm, stating, “RTX 2024 is the perfect platform for the UK debut of the first of our new Prometeon-branded premium tyres. We are proud of our heritage and the evolution to Prometeon-branded products is an historical moment for the Group.”

Since its establishment in 2017, Prometeon has fully developed and engineered all its tyres. Yilmaz emphasised that 2024 marks a new chapter as the company begins to put its signature on its products.

Prometeon Branded R02 Pro Trailer Tyres

Prometeon will feature its first tyres to carry the Prometeon branding, the R02 Pro Trailer, designed for maximum versatility and high safety standards on all roads and in all seasons. The R02 Pro Trailer boasts a new tread design and innovative compound, ensuring low rolling resistance and high durability, optimising total management costs. Additionally, the new reinforced casing construction increases load capacity up to 10 tonnes, ensuring strength and retreadability, even for high-load applications.

Serie 02 Range

Visitors to RTX 2024 can also explore Prometeon’s next-generation Serie 02 range of tyres, designed for regional, long-haul, and on/off-road applications. Launched in 2022, the Serie 02 is engineered for durability, reliability, and performance, ensuring optimal traction and safety across various driving conditions. These tyres focus on innovation and sustainability, offering cost-effective solutions that maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impact.

The Big Debate: Future of Tyres

Prometeon’s Chief Technical Officer, Alexandre Bregantim, will participate in “The Big Debate: Future of Tyres” panel discussion at RTX 2024. Scheduled for Thursday 6 June, this debate will delve into the latest in tyre technology and explore how innovative tyre choices can save road transport operators money while enhancing fleet efficiency.

Pro Services

At RTX, Prometeon will discuss its Pro Services offering, a suite of value-added managed services designed to enhance operational efficiency, prolong tyre lifespan, and reduce overall operating costs for fleet operators. Yilmaz elaborated, “By leveraging advanced technology and expert support, Pro Services empowers businesses to make informed decisions and streamline their tyre management processes.”

SuperTruck

Prometeon’s SuperTruck, a UK-wide network of tyre dealers specialising in the Truck and Bus sector, will also be highlighted. Launched in April 2023, SuperTruck offers a broad range of tyre-related services and Pirelli-branded products with technical support from Prometeon’s national tyre experts. The network has been successfully rolled out in other European markets, including Italy, Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland.

Ilke Bor, Prometeon’s Marketing Manager for UK, Ireland, and Nordics, commented, “RTX is the ideal opportunity for the team at Prometeon to meet with new and existing fleet operators, and to update them firsthand on the benefits of our products and services. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors onto our stand to understand their tyre requirements and to discuss how Prometeon can support them.”

Prometeon invites attendees to visit Stand GR38, Hall 2A at RTX 2024 from 4-6 June at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.
