Ford Fleet Management (FFM) has announced a new partnership with Mitie Plan Zero's transport consultants to facilitate the transition of operational fleets to battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
This collaboration aims to provide customers with comprehensive support on electric vehicle (EV) adoption, including the planning of charging infrastructure. Additionally, the partnership will extend its expertise to broader decarbonisation efforts, encompassing solar energy, battery storage, and grid upgrades. Stuart Williams, the head of sales at FFM, emphasised the complexity of integrating BEVs into operational fleets, highlighting the need for a holistic approach beyond the vehicles themselves.
