Goodyear is set to exhibit at the Road Transport Expo, taking place from 4th to 6th June at NAEC Stoneleigh. This annual event brings together the commercial vehicle industry, showcasing the latest advancements and innovations from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and leading logistics companies.
At stand R43, Goodyear will present its comprehensive fleet management solution, Goodyear Total Mobility. This end-to-end offering integrates truck tyres, solutions, and services designed to enhance fleet efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability. Among the highlights will be the UK debut of Goodyear’s 63% sustainable-material demonstration truck tyre, previously revealed at the IAA Transportation fair in 2022.
The 63% sustainable-material demonstration tyre exemplifies the future of commercial vehicle tyres, supporting fleet customers in achieving critical sustainability targets. This tyre, which includes 15 ingredients across 20 components, is rated “A” for fuel efficiency, matching the highest standards in Goodyear's range. Its innovative construction features four types of carbon blacks derived from plant-based oil, end-of-life tyre pyrolysis oil, carbon dioxide capture, and low-carbon methane pyrolysis processes.
Attendees will have the chance to explore the advantages of Goodyear’s fleet management solutions, including the Goodyear TPMS, CheckPoint, and DrivePoint systems. These technologies provide automated tyre analysis in seconds, boosting fleet productivity and efficiency by minimising manual tyre inspections. Data from these systems is securely stored in the cloud and updated in real-time via Goodyear's mobile and web applications.
