Bobcat Unveils New Compact Machinery at Hillhead 2024

Bobcat is set to debut several innovative products at Hillhead 2024, showcasing a range of compact machinery designed to enhance efficiency and versatility in various industries. The highlight of their exhibition includes the new TL25.60 telehandler, the T86 compact track loader, and the S650 skid-steer loader.

John Christofides, Bobcat's Regional Sales Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event. "We are very much looking forward to the Hillhead exhibition, where visitors will be able to see the very latest from Bobcat. Our stand at Hillhead will demonstrate that Bobcat offers solutions for all types of job sites, both big and small, for customers in construction, rental, quarrying, and many other industries," he said.

Innovative Telehandler Leads the Pack

The TL25.60 telehandler, the smallest in Bobcat's range, is designed for simplicity, stability, and comfort, ensuring safe operation across various applications. Powered by a 75hp Bobcat Stage V engine, it boasts a lift capacity of 2,500kg, a maximum lift height of 5.9m, and a reach of 3.3m. The versatile Bob-Tach carriage, available in manual or hydraulic options, allows the TL25.60 to utilise attachments from the Bobcat loader range.

Christofides highlighted the telehandler's compact design, "Because job sites are becoming ever tighter on space, telehandlers must also become more compact and agile. We have designed the TL25.60 to meet this demand and to be the best compact machine on the market, featuring the same cab as our larger models."

Unprecedented Power in a Compact Loader

The T86 compact track loader represents a significant advancement in Bobcat's compact machinery. With a 3.4-litre Stage V-compliant engine delivering 105hp at 2,600 RPM, the T86 is Bobcat's most powerful compact loader to date. The in-line engine with direct drive enhances cooling capacity and reliability, particularly in demanding applications such as road construction and forestry.

"The T86 has set new industry standards in every area, from in-cab comfort and safety to available power and attachment versatility. The T86 takes what is possible with compact loaders to a whole new level," stated Christofides.

Cutting-Edge Skid-Steer Loader Debuts in the UK

Making its UK debut, the S650 Stage V skid-steer loader is designed for the European market, featuring a Bosch fuel-injection system. This 74.2hp machine combines a lift height of 3.1m with a rated operating capacity of 1,227kg and a tipping load of 2,455kg, making it ideal for truck loading and pallet handling. Its wide range of attachments further broadens its application potential.

Expanding Loader Portfolio

Bobcat's stand will also feature the L85 compact wheel loader, introduced alongside the L75 and the new top-of-the-range L95 model. These additions mark Bobcat's expansion into the compact wheel loader market, providing robust solutions for a variety of tasks including construction, landscaping, and agriculture.

Bobcat's compact wheel loaders are praised for their powerful engines, high stability, and versatile attachments, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. "With the expanded compact wheel loader portfolio, Bobcat now offers the largest loader selection of any manufacturer in the world," Christofides noted.

Comprehensive Equipment Range

In addition to loaders and telehandlers, Bobcat's Hillhead display will feature an extensive selection of mini-excavators, including electric models and a new range of rotary telehandlers. Visitors will also see Bobcat's full line of forklifts, warehouse equipment, portable power products, ground maintenance tools, and light compaction equipment.

The Hillhead exhibition promises to be an exciting opportunity for industry professionals to explore the latest advancements and enhancements from Bobcat.
