Prinx Chengshan Tire Europe has launched its new flagship brand, Prinx, which is positioning itself as a "sustainability-oriented" brand. One of the highlights of the Prinx brand is its development of two tyres specifically designed for electric vehicles, the XNEX Sport and XLAB Comfort.

Introduction To Prinx Chengshan's New European Flagship Tyre Range

Electric vehicles have unique tyre needs due to the higher vehicle weight associated with the battery and its effects on braking behaviour, wear pattern, and rolling resistance. Prinx Chengshan Tire Europe has addressed these concerns with its EV-specific design, which ensures precise steering response and compensates for the lack of engine noise in electric vehicles.

The XNEX Sport and XLAB Comfort tyres are also optimised for more range per charge, with an EU label A rating for the XLAB Comfort and a B rating for the XNEX Sport. Both tyres are B-rated for wet grip, providing a confident driving experience in wet conditions.

The XNEX Sport tyre has already gained recognition for its design, winning several international awards, including the Muse Design Award in the USA, a silver accolade at the Italian A'Design Award & Competition, and a product design category winner at the Paris Design Awards. The tyre's 3D style sidewall and smooth velvet-effect surface impressed the judges, as did the technical features Silenteck and Healteck.

Silenteck is a technology that reduces cavity noise by up to 12.6 dB in the passenger area and up to 2 dB in overall noise. Meanwhile, Healteck is a permanent silicone tyre sealant that closes a hole within seconds should a puncture occur, allowing for the tyre's continued use without compromising the car's handling characteristics or controllability.

Tyre wholesalers can now order the XNEX Sport and XLAB Comfort, which are available in a range that covers 45 sizes. The launch of Prinx's flagship brand and its EV-specific tyres represent an exciting development in the sustainable tyre industry, and Tyre News Media will be monitoring how these tyres perform in the market.
