NEXEN TIRE has recently announced the extension of its partnership with Manchester City Football Club, marking over a decade of successful collaboration between the two entities. The agreement will continue to showcase NEXEN TIRE’s involvement in the football club for the ninth season and beyond.

Since 2015, NEXEN TIRE has been an active supporter of Manchester City, and the partnership has gone beyond just football content. The collaboration has included community and grassroots level CSR programs, reflecting NEXEN TIRE's commitment to making a positive impact in society.

The tire manufacturer has been the Club’s sleeve partner since 2017, a first-ever for a Premier League Club, and their partnership has been a remarkable success story, with Manchester City winning four Premier League titles.

Travis Kang, Global CEO of NEXEN TIRE, expressed his excitement for the long-term partnership and its potential to expand the company's market and product offering, saying, “Both parties are aligned to support and back each other up while inspiring people through our collaboration.”

Ferran Soriano, Chief Executive Officer at City Football Group, expressed gratitude for NEXEN TIRE's continued commitment and support, "We want to thank NEXEN for their continued commitment, support, and inspiration, and we are looking forward to working together throughout the next term, for more innovation and celebrations.”

The extended partnership will enable NEXEN TIRE to continue engaging in marketing initiatives while focusing on its brand identity, "We Got You," as a commitment to its customers, fans, and partners. In addition, the Manchester City men's team will travel to South Korea, the home of the tire manufacturer, in July of this year to prepare for the 2023/24 season.
