As part of their 50 years in Europe celebrations, DENSO UK organised a special event at The Belfry, a renowned golfing venue in the UK, on Monday, June 5th. The purpose of the event was to emphasise teamwork and the importance of aligning objectives and relationships across the entire supply chain.

DENSO's UK and Eire Sales Manager, Kevin Peacocke, highlighted this focus, stating, "The theme of the day was teamwork and the importance of aligning the objectives and relationships of the whole supply chain." The event brought together not only direct customers but also service suppliers, representatives of OESAA and their garage forum, as well as senior managers from within DENSO. In addition to celebrating, the event aimed to raise funds for the charitable organisation BEN, which provides support to industry colleagues in need.

The day's activities revolved around a four ball tournament, where guests were divided into 12 groups based on their golfing abilities. Each group included a member of the DENSO team, and the major prizes were awarded accordingly. Throughout the day, several individual competitions took place, including a hole-in-one challenge with a £25,000 prize. Although no one managed to claim the hole-in-one prize, trophies were awarded for the longest drive and nearest the pin competitions. The winners of the tournament were Patrick and Tom Devine from AP Air, Iain Knox from CD Group, and Jean Claude dal Grande, DENSO's Sales & Marketing Director.
