Bridgestone has claimed another test victory with its Bridgestone Potenza Sport. The high-performance tyre was awarded top ratings in braking, handling, and driving safety in the wet disciplines, resulting in it sharing the joint test victory in Auto Zeitung’s 2023 summer tyre test.

Experts at Auto Zeitung were impressed by the Potenza Sport's "flawless driving characteristics" and "extremely high grip" in the dry, making it a worthy winner of the UHP summer tyre in 19 inches. The tyre's exceptional performance is down to innovative tyre development based on Bridgestone's extensive racing experience and partnerships with renowned vehicle manufacturers. The UHP tyre has been tailored specifically to the requirements of demanding drivers, delivering a high level of control and confidence.

Steven De Bock, Vice President Consumer Replacement and OE at Bridgestone EMIA, said, "We are very pleased with the verdict of the renowned test experts at Auto Zeitung. To be honoured as test winner once again proves the high-quality standards with which we develop our state-of-the-art portfolio. With top products, we offer our retail partners a first-class range so that they can be number one for their end customers."

In addition to Auto Zeitung, the Bridgestone Potenza Sport recently proved its worth in the 2023 summer sports tyre test of Auto Bild sportscars, securing the prestigious rating "exemplary" with the best performance both in the wet and dry. The tyre has achieved nine podiums in renowned tyre test publications since its market launch at the beginning of 2021.

The Bridgestone Potenza Sport is engineered to deliver best-in-class performance in the dry and outstanding control in the wet, making it particularly convincing for disciplines where safety is a crucial feature. Additionally, the premium tyre provides higher mileage than its predecessor, the Potenza S001.
